IM – FLUX INJECTOR

ECO INJECTION FLUXES is a multi purpose Flux Injector, for aluminium alloys metallurgical treatment (drossing, grain refining , etc)

Is a multi purpose injector for granulated fluxes, ECOSAL- QUICKFLUX™, eliminating all environmental concerns from your casthouse operations. No more smoke in the shop due to over reacting fluxes and residues, injects the product right where you need them to be (higher efficiency) and, most important, where the reaction with molten metal and dross cannot generate any kind of smoke. Furthermore, you can clean up the furnace by feeding drossing fluxes underneath the metal level, allowing them to react with the heavier compounds, that usually drop to the bottom of the metal bath, eliminating them. Sodium and/or Calcium elimination can also be performed, together with grain refining, for specific alloys needing special care (e.g. AA6060 or AlSi).

IM – DEGASSING AND METALLURGICAL TREATMENT PLANTS

tatic or mobile plants allowing foundries to perform deoxidizing, modifying or refining treatments, as well as degassing. These operations need our products, FOUNDRY X series (aluminium cans powder filled), that are pre-loaded in proper dispensers of the plants. Thanks to structural characteristics of rotor and shaft, to complete management of time and rotation speed, plants sink capsules into aluminium bath for a homogeneous product diffusion. Treatment with plant degassing offers the following advantages:

Products included in the diecasting series cover all specific needs of foundries.

Our technical service use a thermal imaging camera for evaluating the customer’s appropriate lubrication requirements depending on the different temperatures of the mold.
The use of the thermal imaging camera facilitates the adjustment of the process parameters in a non destructive way, provides to optimize the use of lubricant and the correct dilution avoiding metallization effects and cold joints.

LU – BILLET CASTING

During casting of billets you reach critical friction conditions between molten metal and the mould due to filling of the mould and shrinking of the billet subsequent to cooling.

This series of lubricants is wide enough to allow for choosing of the best potential product between the different options for cooling, lubrication and insulation.

GREASES FOR LUBRICATION OF BILLET COLLAR

PLASTCOTE series, with or without pigment: high viscosity and high melting point, reduce friction during billet casting.

LU – LUBRICANTS FOR EXTRUSION OF ALUMINIUM AND COPPER ALLOYS

During billet extrusion you reach high friction between metal and die.

We have different products available to lubricate plunger, shear, moving parts, which allow for:

  • local lubrication without waste
  • high metallic surfaces adhesion
  • low fumes emissions.

FC STICK

Solid lubricants: recommended for local usage on hot metallic surfaces in billet extrusion.

Lower consumption without dripping and fumes elimination is a plus obtained via local application of the lubrication.

Highly recommended for plunger, shears, extrusion dies and moving metallic parts.

FC STICK can be supplied in various shapes, dimensions and weights, to satisfy even the most critical need.

PLASTCOTE GR

Graphite based greases, recommended for hot metallic surfaces, especially lubrication of the billet extrusion piston, shears, extrusion dies, moulds.

BORON NITRIDE SPRAY, PULVEGRAF 600 SPRAY

This spray is a proven lubricant and release agent, graphite or boron nitride based.

NIBOR

Lubricants and parting agents in powder shape, Boron Nitride based, used to reduce friction and wear of surfaces.

Applicable for extrusion dies and billets ready to be extruded.

Static spray gun is the way to use these products.

PLASTCOTE EST

Protective lubricant, water based, for billet extrusion dies in aluminium and copper industry.

Main property is to create an homogeneous layer on treated surfaces and wear is uniform.

Avoids fumes and dust creation during parting agent application thus reducing consumption.

LU – HOT FORGING AND METAL WORKING

HOT FORGING OF STEEL, COPPER ALLOYS AND ALUMINIUM

PLASTCOTE series: water based with graphite addiction, improves thermal conductivity, keeping moulds cooler.
